Our twin parish in Haiti, St. Pierre Claver in Dory, is quite some distance from the Haitian capitol, Port-au-Prince, where the recent major earthquake occurred. The parish did suffer some minor damage but luckily avoided any major problems.
St. Pierre Parish now has a new Pastor, Fr. Daniel Lucien, and for the first time an Associate Pastor, Fr. Ingrid Antoine. Fr. Daniel has been communicating with Jeff Raabe, our OLPH contact for our twin parish, and he sends his greetings and continued thanks to the parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help for all of our financial help and continued prayers.
